Where we began

Established in 1989, until 2017 we were known as Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) Southern Sydney. We originally offered support to businesses based in Southern Sydney and Sutherland Shire. In January 2017, we were proud to have been awarded the NSW Business Connect contract to provide free one-to-one business advice sessions, business advisory services, and training workshops to small businesses and disrupted industries across the Sydney area; including Southern Sydney, Inner West, Sydney’s CBD, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, and Northern Beaches. Also in 2017, we re-branded as ‘Realise Business’ to enable us to evolve and expand our business to service this larger region.

Our Philosophy

The Realise Business name speaks to the emotional realisation business owners experience throughout their journey from start up to growth, and beyond. There are always new things to learn and new opportunities to realise. The name also speaks to the ultimate goal of all business owners, which is to realise success and growth, whatever that means for them. Whatever stage of business you’re in right now, our team will take the time to get to know your situation and help you connect, energise and grow your business.

Amanda Warrington

Business Advisor

Amanda has owned and sold a variety of businesses over the last 20 years, and recognises from a business owner perspective the value of tailored business advice and support. She is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them achieve their goals and develop plans to take their business to the next level.

Chris Cassar

Business Advisor

Chris has a wealth of business management experience in both the corporate and small business markets, and has run his own business and marketing consulting practice specialising in small business. Over the last 15 years Chris has helped small businesses in a wide range of industries including IT, Medical Services, Legal service, Tourism, Building and Construction, Allied Health Services, Retail, Fashion and Entertainment.
