Supporting small business owners in working towards and attaining strong financially sustainable businesses

What's This Program All About?

We’ve heard your calls for a stronger financial foundation for your business. That’s why we’re introducing this pilot program to boost your financial know-how, covering: 

– Building a financial mindset
– Crafting & tracking a workable budget
– Mastering cash flow management.

You’ll join a small group of fellow entrepreneurs for a unique chance to learn and forge lasting connections with peers. And guess what? It’s absolutely free for this pilot phase!

Are you ready to be challenged, learn and build relationships with other small business owners? Through this first-ever peer-to-peer learning program, small business owners are presented with the unique opportunity not only to learn new skills, which will improve financial capability, but also significantly expand their professional network.

Are you willing and able to commit for the entirety of the program?

The success of this program is 100% dependent upon participating business owners attendance (and participation) at each of the three (3-hour) sessions, which will commence promptly at the designated time.

If, for any reason, you feel that you are unable to attend any of the sessions, or won’t be able to stay for the duration of each session, we respectfully request that you refrain from applying for this program.

Are you registered with Business Connect? A perquisite for accessing this pilot program free-of-charge is to be registered with the NSW Government-funded Business Connect Program. If you haven’t already done so, sign up  here.

Meet the Facilitators

Cathy Dimarchos – With 30 years of experience, Cathy blends finance, business, and people skills to make a real impact. She’s passionate about financial literacy, especially for women and the next generation.
Anastasia Theodoropoulos – A finance sector veteran with over 15 years of experience, Anastasia brings a wealth of knowledge, negotiation skills, and financial insight.

We’re rolling out four pilot groups through to 30 June 2024, each with three sessions spread over six weeks.

Group #1 (Anastasia): March 19, April 2, April 23 (9am-12pm) held at Level 5 / 115 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000

Group #2 (Anastasia): March 20, April 3, April 24 (12pm-3pm) held at Level 5 / 115 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000

Group #3 (Cathy): April 4, April 18, May 2nd (5pm-8pm) held at Level 26, 1 Bligh, 1 Bligh St, Sydney, NSW 2000

As a long term member of the Realise Business Board, Lindsay has temporarily stepped into this key role to facilitate the changeover of Chief Executive as part of our CEO succession strategy. Additionally he is busy leading the roll out of a major new Government contract that will take Realise Business up to the next level of its vital place in the NSW Small Business Advisory scene.
