Digital Storytelling

In this new age of online influence what are the new ways to connect and collaborate? What makes a good story? How do you identify opportunities, ask the right questions and craft the narrative? In this workshop you’ll learn all the different ways to bring your story to life. You’ll put your learning into practice by using your phone to create your own videos for your social channels. How do you create great content that not only engages, it persuades your audience on a pathway to purchase? Now content is one of those jargon words, which just means what you say and how you say it. Are you writing a blog, are you recording a video, are you “microblogging” on Instagram or Facebook. Are you taking photos, are you recording webisodes on Youtube or Instagram TV, or recording a podcast? The list of possible content ideas goes on and on and on and on. In a Digital Storytelling Workshop your team will learn:
  • The Context: In this new age of online influence what are the ways you can share your message?
  • The Message: What makes a good story? How do you identify opportunities, ask the right questions and craft the narrative? This can also include a discussion with a planning tool for the year.
  • The Method:  What are all of the different ways that you can tell your story? Then focus in on video and how to shoot video on your phone.
These workshops are funded by Transport for NSW, through Business Connect, to provide assistance to small businesses affected by the construction of the CBD & South East Light Rail. Watch Video
