Realise Business is pleased to announce our latest webinar with the Hon. Damien Tudehope MLC, NSW Minister for Finance and Small Business and Chris Lamont, the NSW Small Business Commissioner. 

Realise Business CEO Jacqui Attard will lead a panel discussion addressing the current challenges for small business as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.The panel will also address the emotional toll it has taken on small business owners, what support is available and where there may be light at the end of the tunnel in our shared journey to recovery.

The Hon. Damien Tudehope MLC

Damien resides in the Hills District and grew up in the Moss Vale area before attending the University of Sydney, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws in 1978.

Prior to being elected to the NSW Parliament, Damien was a partner in his own law firm, O’Hara and Company Solicitors, for thirty years. Damien has also been a small business owner, primarily in the childcare sector and was the Chief of Staff to the former Attorney-General Greg Smith.

Damien was elected to the seat of Epping in 2015 with the second highest primary vote in the history of the electorate.

In March 2019, Damien was elected to the Legislative Council and was appointed as the Minister of Finance and Small Business.

In April 2020, Damien was appointed as Vice-President of the Executive Council and Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council.

In July 2020, Damien was appointed as Leader of the House in the Legislative Council.

NSW Small Business Commissioner, Chris Lamont

He has experience in both the public and private sectors having held executive positions in federal, state and local government.  As an advocate he has designed and developed deliver major reforms and programs for the construction, aged care and housing industry. In the private sector he has led not-for-profit and commercial businesses across a range of industries including: construction; facilities management; and health care.

Chris Lamont commenced as NSW Small Business Commissioner in June 2020.
