Viktoria Darabi holds a Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism which combines the disciplines of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Tourism and Gastronomy. She is a Food Culture Tourism Consultant within the Tourism, Events and Hospitality industries.  As a Culinary Tourism Whisperer and Crusader, she has a keen eye for current and future trends in food and beverage. She blends a foodie’s soul, within a marketer’s mind, within an entrepreneur’s spirit.

Viktoria has over three decades of experience as a small business owner and contractor, having worked with many types of small to medium businesses primarily in the artisan, events and  food and beverage space.

She has been a contract trainer for the Diploma of Event Management and at various times has been mentor, coach, trainer and presenter transforming into whichever is needed by not-for-profit, corporate or Government clients.

She is a volunteer board member providing managerial and marketing support to a Western Sydney based multi-cultural food tour social enterprise.

Viktoria has been a U.S. James Beard Foundation Scholarship recipient in food and culinary studies.

Her food culture blog Gastronomia, explores how food culture (gastronomy) experiences are marketed, studied, communicated, understood and appreciated.
She was the founder of the Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail, Hawkesbury Antiques Trail and mentor for the Sydney’s Designers and Artist’s Community. She was also co-founder of the ILoveWindsor campaign/website and freelance writer for Australian Country Collections magazine.

Viktoria has a special interest in Social Gastronomy, a human centered global movement using the power of food and gastronomy to address social inequality, fight hunger, improve nutrition education, create a sustainable food system and local jobs.

Bespoke speaking topics include the application/implications of current research, trends, marketing and inspiration in the combined disciplines of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Tourism and Gastronomy.
