Realise Business, a leading not-for-profit organisation that supports small businesses
in New South Wales, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Rogers as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
“Mr Rogers experience and knowledge in leading and developing partnerships with government stakeholders will be highly valuable as we continue to support small businesses through our business advice and coaching programs, including Business Connect”, Realise Business Board Chair, Katrina Hodgkinson, said.
“Mr Rogers will be leading Realise Business at an exciting time as the organisation has recently been awarded an Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS) Digital Solutions grant”, Ms Hodgkinson said.
The ASBAS grant is part of the Australian Government’s $18.6 million commitment over four years, with $6.51 million being invested in NSW and the ACT. The funding aims to provide affordable and accessible advice to small businesses seeking to upgrade their digital presence.
Speaking about his recent appointment, Mr Rogers said, “I am thrilled to be joining Realise Business at such an exciting time.
“The ASBAS Digital Solutions Grant is a fantastic opportunity for Realise Business to expand the organisation’s reach and help even more small businesses.
“I look forward to working with the team at Realise Business to build on their impressive track record and make a real difference to the small business community of NSW”, Mr Rogers said.
Mr Rogers brings a wealth of leadership and business experience to Realise Business, including a background and Master’s certification in Business and Marketing and more than 20 years’ experience across a number of industries.
Mr Rogers has co-founded and directed his own successful businesses and has previously held the roles of Realise Business Advisor, NSW Taxi Council CEO and Australian Taxi Industry Association Board member.
The Board of Realise Business thanked interim CEO, Mr Lindsay Munns, for his exceptional service and attention to detail during the transition period. The Board looks forward to working with Mr Rogers to drive Realise Business to new heights and help small businesses thrive and grow.
Martin Rogers will commence with Realise Business on the 8th May 2023.
