Cybersecurity: Keeping your business safe

A book launched by Mailguard founder Craig McDonald has recently highlighted that many Australian businesses are quietly absorbing the cost of cybersecurity attacks to keep them off of the radar with small and medium businesses paying an average $276,323 to recover from a successful attack.

The Sutherland Shire Business Chamber and Realise Business have put together a cybersecurity panel to help our local businesses understand and combat cyber attacks.

Speakers include:

Samea Maakrun from Sasy & Savy who will share her personal experience of a cyberattack, how it happened and how it was resolved.

Louise Bavin a Corporate and Commercial lawyer from Australian Solutions Business who will talk about systems and processes businesses can put in place to legally protect themselves and the information of their customers.

Members and guests are welcome to this lunch event. A light lunch including sandwiches, wraps and hot food will be served.
